Description
Single String Unsighted Class:
Shooting stake is WHITE.
Competitors may be of any age.
The use of any 1, 2, or 3 piece recurve or longbow is permitted as long as it consists of only a single draw string and generates thrust to the arrow via flexion of limbs. NO sights or sighting mechanisms are permitted (this includes marks on the riser) and the string must be released with fingers. Additions to the riser are allowed, including weight stacks and stabilizer bars, provided they do not extend more than 12 inches from the point of attachment and can not be used as a manner of sighting. Arrows must be identical in size and configuration.
Distances are UNKNOWN to a maximum of 30 yards. The use of a range finder is NOT permitted.
Scoring:
Lower 12 ring is in play and will score 12 points UNLESS you call the upper 12 ring, then the lower 12 scores as 10.
